Worker’s Compensation, on an admitted Concussion injury, pays for all reasonable and necessary medical bills as long as they are related to the injury.  Medical benefits include ambulance and emergency care, services of medical doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists. Imaging studies, including x-rays, MRIs, and CT scans are included.

Worker’s Compensation insurance is required to pay medical benefits relating to any concussion injury for the remainder of the concussion victims lifetime. Those benefits never go away unless specifically waived

Respected studies indicate that prompt treatment of concussion injuries can be very beneficial in reducing the long-term consequences. For that reason it is very important that concussion victims take advantage of the wood medical benefits afforded under Minnesota Worker’s Compensation law and seek immediate treatment.
